Help
What a purchase gives you, how refunds work, and how sellers are paid. If the answer isn't here, there are three ways to reach us at the bottom of the page.
Before you buy
Previews, what a purchase gives you, and how payment works.
Can I try a product before I buy it?
Yes, and every listing says which kind of preview it offers: a live demo of the real product, a sandbox with test data, an interactive preview embedded by the seller, a sample of the actual files, or a video walkthrough. The label on the listing tells you which one you are looking at, so a video is never presented as a working demo.
Use it. Change-of-mind refunds are not offered precisely because you can evaluate a product first, so the preview is the moment to decide.
What do I actually get when I buy?
A licence to use the product under the terms shown on that listing, plus the files themselves. Buying does not transfer copyright or ownership of the underlying work unless the listing is an exclusive acquisition and says so.
The version, price and licence terms are recorded as they stood at the moment you paid. Later changes to the listing cannot alter what you bought.
What are the different licences?
Sellers choose from a set of standard licences — personal use, commercial use, single-product commercial, ready to brand, and extended or multi-client — or write their own, which LaunchStock reviews before the listing goes live. The full text is on the listing before you buy and in your library afterwards.
Exclusive acquisitions are different: the product is delisted after the sale and no further licences are sold. Licences sold before that stay valid, and the number is stated in your purchase.
How do I pay, and what does it cost?
Payment is by card through Stripe. Prices are shown in Australian dollars, and a card issued outside Australia works normally — your bank handles the conversion.
LaunchStock never sees or stores your card number: the details go straight from your browser to Stripe.
How quickly do I get the files?
Immediately. Delivery happens as soon as Stripe confirms the payment: the purchase appears in your library with its files, licence and receipt, and a confirmation email follows.
If a payment succeeds but delivery cannot be completed — an exclusive product sold moments earlier, say — the order fails safely and the payment is refunded in full.
After you buy
Downloads, what you may do with a product, and refunds.
Where are my files, and can I download them again?
In your library, on the purchase. Download as often as you need while your access is active.
Each download link is signed and expires after about 15 minutes, so a link you copied yesterday will not work today. Open the purchase again and start a fresh download.
What am I allowed to do with what I bought?
Whatever the licence on your purchase allows — it is shown in full in your library. Most licences let you use and modify the product for your own business; what varies is whether you may use it for clients, in more than one product, or resell it.
What no licence allows is reselling, redistributing or repackaging the product beyond its terms, including after rebranding it.
What happens when a seller updates a product?
You keep the version you bought, with the licence and terms that applied to it. If a seller publishes a newer version, whether you get it depends on what that listing promised — check its description and support terms.
Can I get a refund?
Within 14 days of purchase, if the product is materially not as described — it does not work the way the listing and preview showed, files are missing or unusable, or the download does not match the listing.
Change of mind is not a reason for a refund, including after downloading the files, which is why the preview matters. Request a refund from your library: the seller responds first, and LaunchStock decides if you are not satisfied with their answer.
An approved refund ends your licence — access is revoked and you must delete every copy, including anything you have modified or rebranded. The money reaches your original payment method in about 5–10 business days.
None of this limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which apply whatever a listing says.
Something is wrong with a product. What do I do first?
Open the purchase in your library and start a support ticket. It goes to the seller with the full context of what you bought, and most problems — a missing file, a setup step that is not clear — are fixed there.
If the seller does not respond, or their answer does not resolve it, escalate: a refund request from the same purchase brings LaunchStock in to decide.
How do I report a listing?
Every listing has a report link. Use it for anything that looks misleading, infringing or unsafe — a demo that does not match the product, content the seller does not have the rights to, or an attempt to move payment off the platform.
Reports go to LaunchStock, not to the seller, and we review listings on their merits.
Selling on LaunchStock
Listing standards, fees, payouts and verification.
Who can sell, and what gets listed?
Anyone who holds the rights to what they are listing, including any third-party components, which must permit resale under the licence being offered. Every listing is reviewed by LaunchStock before it goes live, and listings that fall short are sent back with notes.
What does selling cost?
There is no listing fee. LaunchStock takes 15% of each sale, and the rate that applies to a sale is the rate in force when it happens.
Stripe's fees for taking the buyer's payment and for sending your payout come out of that commission, not out of your share.
When do I get paid?
Your share of a sale is sent to your Stripe account 14 days after the purchase, and Stripe then pays it out to your bank. The wait covers the window in which a buyer can raise a problem.
A sale is not paid out while a refund request or a chargeback on it is open, or before you have finished setting up payouts. Exclusive acquisitions are held until LaunchStock has verified the handover.
Setting up payouts happens on Stripe, which asks for your identity and an Australian bank account. It is available to sellers based in Australia for now.
What happens if a buyer is refunded after I have been paid?
Your share of that refund is taken back from your Stripe balance. If your balance cannot cover it, the remainder is deducted from your next payouts, and your seller dashboard shows what is outstanding.
The same applies to a chargeback that is lost. Refunds are decided on the evidence — the listing as it stood at purchase, and the buyer's activity on that purchase — not automatically.
What is the verified seller badge?
It means a LaunchStock reviewer checked the details you submitted: your legal name and country, plus whatever your kind of selling requires — a company or partnership also gives its ABN or company number and registered address — and your signed declaration that you hold the rights to what you list.
We ask individual creators for far less than registered businesses, because there is less to check. It is a review of submitted details, not a government identity check, and the badge is granted by LaunchStock — never by setting up payouts or by anything a seller can switch on themselves.
Your account
Signing in, your data, and getting hold of a person.
How do I sign in, or reset my password?
With your email and password, or with Google or Microsoft if you signed up that way. If you have forgotten your password, use the reset link on the sign-in page and we will email you a link.
What data do you hold about me?
Your account details, your purchases and their licences, support and refund history, and basic technical logs used for security. Card details are held by Stripe, not by us; sellers' bank details are held by Stripe too.
The Privacy Policy sets out what we collect, why, and who it is shared with. To ask for a copy of your data or to close your account, email us.
How do I reach a person?
For anything to do with a specific purchase, start from that purchase so we can see it. For everything else — including questions before you buy — email support@launchstock.app or call +61 3 8804 5734.
LaunchStock is based in Melbourne, so replies come on Australian business hours.
Still stuck?
Start where the answer lives — a question about one purchase is answered fastest by the person who sold it.
A quick question. (the Help button on every page). It answers from this help centre and the page you're on, and passes anything it can't answer to the team.
A problem with something you bought. Open it in your library and start a support ticket: the seller gets the version, licence and purchase date with your message.
A refund. Request one from the purchase. The seller responds first; LaunchStock decides if you aren't satisfied.
Anything else, including before you buy. Email support@launchstock.app — no account needed.

The Terms of Service and each listing's own licence and refund policy are the contract. This page explains them; where they differ, they win.
