Preparing for launch…
Preparing for launch…
The no-code kit for launching a paid membership in a weekend — with the hard 80% done right: pricing, content rhythm and retention, wrapped around a polished join page.

Most memberships don't fail at the technology — they fail at month four, when the pricing was wrong, the content rhythm was unsustainable and nobody had a plan for the first cancellation email. This kit is built backwards from that truth: the platform setup is the easy 20%, so the kit spends its weight on the 80% that decides whether your membership is alive in month six. The launch path runs eight files in one deliberate order. First the pricing and tiering playbook — price positioning, the three-tier shape, the founding-cohort mechanic (lock founding pricing forever for your first 50), and the honest checklist for when NOT to launch yet. Then the gated-content guide: content architecture plus click-by-click setup on your choice of Ghost, Podia or Memberstack — real instructions for real platforms, not "pick a tool" hand-waving. Then your public front door: a polished, self-contained join-page template with three tiers and a monthly/annual toggle, ready to rebrand and publish anywhere. Community guidelines with a moderation ladder go up before your first ten members do. Then the part most launch kits skip — keeping them: an 8-week content calendar that builds a sustainable rhythm (not a heroic sprint that collapses), retention email templates for the moments that matter (welcome, week-one, the quiet-member nudge, renewal), and a churn-save flow with the exact sequences for cancellations — including the ones you should let go gracefully. Everything is no-code and platform-honest: you'll pay your chosen platform its normal fee, and this kit makes every decision around it better. The live demo is the kit's actual join-page template dressed in a sample membership — click through the tiers and the copy; what you see is the file you get. This is a launch kit — playbooks, templates and a join page. It is deliberately not software: no plugins, nothing to host beyond one HTML page, nothing that breaks when a platform updates.
- README-setup.md — the launch path: all eight files sequenced into one weekend-sized order - pricing-tiering-playbook.md — price positioning, the three-tier shape, founding-cohort pricing, and when NOT to launch - gated-content-guide.md — content architecture + step-by-step setup on Ghost, Podia and Memberstack - join-page-template.html — polished, self-contained join/landing page: three tiers, monthly/annual toggle, rebrand-ready - community-guidelines-template.md — fill-in-the-blanks guidelines with a moderation ladder, ready before your first ten members - content-calendar-8-weeks.csv — a sustainable publishing rhythm for the critical first two months - retention-email-templates.md — welcome, week-one, quiet-member nudge, renewal — the emails that keep members - churn-save-flow.md — the cancellation sequences: what to offer, when to save, and when to let go gracefully
- Membership software — this is deliberately a no-code kit; your platform (Ghost, Podia or Memberstack) hosts the membership and takes payments, and the guide sets each up step by step - Platform subscription fees (from ~US$9/mo depending on platform — the gated-content guide compares them honestly) - Your content — the kit builds the machine around it; the calendar makes producing it sustainable - Audience-building — this launches a membership to people who know you; it isn't a traffic course
- An account on Ghost, Podia or Memberstack (the guide helps you choose; free trials cover the launch weekend) - Something you know that people would pay to learn or access — and a few hours a week to sustain it - Any static host or your platform's pages for the join page (it's one self-contained HTML file)
1. Read README-setup.md — it sequences everything; don't freestyle the order. 2. Do pricing-tiering-playbook.md first, before touching any platform settings — including its "should you launch yet" checklist. 3. Day 1: choose and configure your platform with gated-content-guide.md. 4. Day 2: rebrand join-page-template.html, publish it, and put community-guidelines-template.md up before your first ten members arrive. 5. Load content-calendar-8-weeks.csv into your planner and schedule the retention emails from retention-email-templates.md. 6. Read churn-save-flow.md before your first cancellation, not after it.
Single-business commercial licence. Use the kit to launch and run one membership business, adapting every file freely for it. You may not resell, redistribute or re-list the kit, its playbooks, templates or derivatives as a template or product, whether paid or free. Each membership business needs its own licence.
14-day refund if the product is materially not as described in this listing or its demo. The demo is the kit's real join-page template — inspect it before buying. Refunds are not offered for change of mind or for third-party platform fees. Open a refund request from your Launchstock library and we will respond within 2 business days. An approved refund ends your licence to the product — you must delete all copies of the files and stop using them.
Email support (hello@ledgerandline.com) for 3 months from purchase, replies within one business day. Covers the launch path, platform setup per the guide, and join-page customisation. Bespoke membership strategy is available as paid work.
