Four ready-to-import n8n automations for local service businesses: missed-call text-back, quote follow-up, review requests with an unhappy fork, and no-show reminders.

Local service businesses don't lose jobs to bad work — they lose them to slow answers. The call that rang out while you were on the tools. The quote that died of silence. The happy customer nobody asked for a review. The 10:30 that just didn't show. This pack automates exactly those four moments, and nothing else. Autopilot 1 — Missed-call text-back. A missed call becomes a text conversation in under a minute: "Sorry we couldn't pick up — what do you need?" Different message after hours. Every caller logged. This is the single highest-value automation a local business can run, because the customer who can't reach you rings your competitor next. Autopilot 2 — Quote follow-up. Day 2, day 5, day 10 — three escalating nudges (helpful → make-it-easy → graceful last word), each one checking a stop-list first so the moment a customer replies, the sequence ends. Unanswered after three? The owner gets an email suggesting one human call. Autopilot 3 — Review request, with the fork that makes it honest. Three hours after a job completes: "How did we do, 1-5?" Scores of 4-5 get your Google review link. Scores of 1-3 get a private recovery message — and the owner gets an urgent email with the number to call today. Bad experiences route to your phone, not your public profile. Autopilot 4 — No-show reminders. Every booking gets a 24-hour and a 2-hour reminder with reply-C-to-confirm / reply-R-to-reschedule, driven from a simple bookings sheet that works with any calendar. Two texts turn most no-shows into confirmations or moved slots — revenue moved instead of lost. Each workflow imports straight into n8n (cloud or a $10/mo self-hosted box) with sticky-note documentation on the canvas. The guides cover every trigger wiring — phone-system webhooks, quoting tools, the manual fallbacks — plus a genuinely useful AU SMS-provider comparison (Twilio vs MessageMedia vs ClickSend: real costs, sender-ID rules, and the 2-minute swap) and the anti-spam basics that keep you on the right side of ACMA. The live demo simulates all four automations end to end with their real message templates — including the review fork, where you choose the customer's reply and watch the routing change. What you watch is what you import.
- workflows/missed-call-text-back.n8n.json — webhook → business-hours fork → instant SMS → call log - workflows/quote-follow-up.n8n.json — day 2/5/10 sequence with stop-list checks and a final owner alert - workflows/review-request.n8n.json — timed ask, 1-5 scoring via inbound SMS, happy/unhappy fork, urgent owner alert - workflows/no-show-reminders.n8n.json — 30-minute scanner, 24h + 2h reminders, repeat-protection stamps - README-setup.md — the 30-minute shared setup: n8n, SMS account, the Autopilot Log sheet, rollout rules and honest expectations - workflow-guides.md — per-workflow trigger wiring (phone systems, quoting tools, the bookmark fallback), every customisation point, and a copy-paste test for each - sms-providers-au.md — Twilio vs MessageMedia vs ClickSend for AU: costs, sender-ID rules, the anti-spam basics, and the 2-minute provider swap
- An n8n instance (n8n Cloud from ~US$24/mo, or self-host on a ~$10/mo VPS — both paths in the README) - An SMS account (~$10-30/mo at typical local-business volume; the AU guide helps you pick) - AI or chatbots — these automations open conversations; a human has them. That's deliberate. - Marketing-blast tooling — this pack texts your own customers about their own jobs, and stays on that safe ground
- n8n, cloud or self-hosted (import is identical) - Twilio, MessageMedia or ClickSend account with an AU mobile number (replies matter — the guide explains why alphanumeric sender IDs break these flows) - A Google account for the shared Autopilot Log sheet - A phone system or booking habit that can hit a webhook — or the documented manual fallbacks
1. Read README-setup.md and do the shared setup: n8n instance, SMS provider (read sms-providers-au.md first), and the Autopilot Log sheet with its four tabs. 2. Import the four .n8n.json files — each opens with sticky notes explaining itself on the canvas. 3. Connect credentials when prompted: SMS provider, Google Sheets, and email for the two owner-alert nodes. 4. Wire each trigger per workflow-guides.md — phone-system webhook, quote-sent moment, job-done moment, bookings habit. 5. Replace every [Your Business] placeholder and put your Google review link in Autopilot 3. 6. Run each workflow's copy-paste test against your own mobile, then flip them Active one at a time — missed-call first; it pays for the pack fastest.
Single-business commercial licence. Run all four automations for one business and adapt them freely for it. Setting them up for client businesses as a service requires one licence per client business. You may not resell, redistribute or re-list the workflows or guides as a template or product, whether paid or free.
14-day refund if the product is materially not as described in this listing or its demo. The demo simulates all four workflows with their real templates — watch each one before buying. Refunds are not offered for change of mind or for third-party costs (n8n hosting, SMS credit). Open a refund request from your Launchstock library and we will respond within 2 business days. An approved refund ends your licence to the product — you must delete all copies of the files and stop using them.
Email support (flow@flowforgestudio.com.au) for 3 months from purchase, replies within one business day. Covers import, credential connection, trigger wiring per the guides, and the SMS-provider swap on unmodified workflows. Custom workflow development is available as paid work.
